Who are bike safes for?
The ParkMyBike app brings together everyone involved in bike storage. Through the ParkMyBike app, users can easily rent and pay for a safe. This ensures that your bike is always safe, while you can charge your battery.
In addition, we bring bike locker makers and governments together to ensure that bike safes are installed in more and more places. Do you already have bike safes and do you want to make them smart? We have a solution for that. Would you like to install smart bike safes in your province or municipality? Let us know and we'll post them. This means that your residents can park their bikes easily and safely.
Which locks do you support?
Our hardware module can be used flexibly and works with different types of locks. We currently support three types of locks: Southco R4-EM-R11-161, Maasland SP00U, Kerong KR-S70 and our ParkMyBike Smartlock.
Do your bike safes have a different lock? Contact us for a tailor-made solution.
Can the bike safes be managed remotely?
Yes they can! The management of the hardware module can be done completely remotely. As long as the module has power, it can be monitored via 2G, 3G and 4G. This allows updates, improvements and any bug fixes to be implemented and dealt with quickly.

How does the maintenance management app work?
As an administrator, you can easily manage the bike safes from a mobile device through the included maintenance app. Easily log in to the ParkMyBike app with a special maintenance account and get access to all functionalities for maintenance employees.
With the ParkMyBike app for maintenance you can always check the status of your bike safes. In the app you can see, among other things, whether a safe is open or closed, whether there is a bike in the safe and whether maintenance is required. This means that you don't even have to be on location!

Where can the bike safes be placed?
Our bike safes can be placed anywhere; as long as there is a connection to the power grid. By using an LTE and/or 2G/3G connection, the safes are in contact with the ParkMyBike app and the dashboard at all times. To make optimal use of the bike lockers, we recommend placing them at a P+R, carpool parking or a bus/train/metro station.
How do bike safes contribute to a sustainable mobility solution?
With bike safes we contribute to a healthy and sustainable living environment. By offering a safe bike locker, we motivate people to come to public transport by bike. In this way, the use of public transport is stimulated and made easier. Bike safes make environmentally friendly travel more attractive.

What does it cost to rent a safe?
The price for renting a bike safe can vary per location. Before you book a safe, you see the price per hour and the maximum price per day.

How do I reserve a safe?
As soon as you have an account with a linked email, you can reserve a safe. Please follow these instructions:
Select a location In the overview of available safes you see different locations. Choose the location where you want to park your bike. At the location you can see how many safes are available. Reserve a safe In the next screen you will see the location of the safe, an overview of the provider, the price per hour and the daily price. You can reserve the safe by clicking on the 'Reserve safe' button. Safe reserved *Success! You have reserved a safe. You have one hour to open the safe for free.
Where can I park my bike?
At the moment there are several places in the Netherlands and Belgium where you can park your bike.

How secure is my data?
9to5 does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following personal data: Your name, e-mail address, rental history and invoices are stored by 9to5 during the mandatory legal period. We do this on behalf of the providers of the safes. See our Privacy Statement for further information.
How do I create an account?
Creating an account is very easy and you will be guided all the way through. Creating an account takes 2 minutes by following the steps listed below. These steps are of course preceded by downloading the ParkMyBike app.
- Start Up Open the ParkMyBike app and you will see the button 'Create account'. Click here to create an account.
- Data Enter your name and email address in the appropriate boxes. Make sure you have access to the email address to confirm. You will also receive reservation confirmations and invoices on this email address.
- Password Enter a password. This must be at least 8 characters long and contain 1 number for the security of your account.
- Create Account Press the 'Create Account' button. A screen with information will appear. After clicking on 'Get started' you can log in to your account.
I forgot my password, now what?
On the login page, under the 'Log in' button, the text 'Forgot your password?' is displayed. Click here if you have forgotten your password.
- Email Address Enter the e-mail address with which you have an account at ParkMyBike in the first screen.
- Open email In the next screen you can go to your mailbox through the ParkMyBike App. If you do not want this and want to open the e-mail yourself; then close the app and open your mailbox yourself. The email contains a link to reset the password. Click here to be redirected back to the ParkMyBike app.
- New Password Enter the new password. This must again contain 8 characters and at least 1 number for the security of your account. Repeat this password to make sure you entered it correctly. If both are equal, you can click on 'Change password' to change the password and log in again. These steps can also be used to change your password. There is a button for this in the menu under 'Account details'.
How do I open and close the bike safe?
This differs per bike safe and is indicated on the locker. Most lockers open upwards so that you have plenty of space to store your bicycle. You have to pull it down manually to close the safe.
I need help, who can I contact?
You can get in touch with support in the ParkMyBike app. Here you can report how the safe is functioning and report any problems.
Do you need urgent help? Then there is a telephone number in the ParkMyBike app that you can reach out to.
Why do I have to link my bank account?
Invoices are paid monthly by direct debit. To ensure that this is done from a bank account that you own, it must be confirmed. Confirmation is done by a one-off payment of 1 or 2 cents through the Mollie payment system.
How do I confirm my bank account?
You can confirm your account immediately after creating an account. This is done to allow the invoices to be automatically collected. Therefore, make sure that you make the confirmation with the bank account with which you want to pay for the use of the bike safes.
- Link bank account When your account has been created, you will see a screen to link your bank account. By clicking on this you will be redirected to a Mollie payment page.
- Payment of amount On this page you will be asked to pay 1 or 2 euro cents, depending on your payment method. Select your bank to make this payment.
- Bank account confirmed If the payment is successful, you will be redirected back to the ParkMyBike App. Here you can see that the bank account is linked. Confirmation failed? This can be due to several factors; internet connection, cancellation or perhaps a malfunction at the bank. Please try again (at a later time) via your account in the app. If this causes problems again, you can report it and we will look at how we can solve it. ::
Which payment methods are supported?
In the Netherlands, payment accounts are confirmed via iDEAL. After that, payment is made by direct debit. In Belgium, iDEAL, Bank Transfer, Bancontact, KBC/CBC Payment and Belfius pay can be used.
